RECIPE:
Peach-Amaretto Frappe

A delicious fruit and almond flavored smoothie.

Serving: 1
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup lowfat milk or fat-free milk
1 large ripe peach, pitted and cut into eighths (see below)
5 to 6 ice cubes
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract


DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend at high speed until very smooth and foamy, about 1 minute.

2. Pour into a chilled glass and serve. Makes 1 serving.

3. Substitution Tip: Use 2 canned, drained peach halves if fresh peaches aren't available.
