1 cup dry lentil
2 bay leaf
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
4 cup water
1 medium onion
1/4 cup soy flour
1. Cook lentils in water or vegetable juice.
2. Add bay leaves and basil.
3. Cook about 25 minutes.
4. Remove bay leaves.
5. Grate onion into lentils, add flour and sunflower seeds.
6. Cool 15 minutes.
7. Form into patties.
8. Saute in olive oil on low to medium heat.
9. Makes about 8 bun size burgers.
