Total Time: 50 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
1 prepared pie shell
1/2 lb diced ham
1 medium onion, chopped
8 ounces grated reduced fat cheese
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup light sour cream
1 cup skim milk
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

DIRECTIONS:
1. Saute onion in a little butter or olive oil.

2. Sprinkle on the bottom of the pie shell along with the ham.

3. Cover with the grated cheese.

4. Mix the egg with the sour cream, milk, and seasonings and pour over the cheese and ham.

5. Bake at 375°F for about a half an hour or until a sharp clean knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

6. Quiches freeze well before baking.

TIP: Why not make two or three at once, and freeze the extras! Vary the ingredients on the bottom to customize your quiche. Some good combinations are broccoli and bacon bits, leftover
chicken and mild chiles (use Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese for this combo), or any leftover vegetables.
